Does Everyone Who Wants To Buy Property In Marbella Need An NIE?

Unfortunately, absolutely everyone who wants to buy a property, buy a car or motorbike, get a job, or even set get a mobile phone or internet contract must acquire one.

When Do I Need To Apply For An NIE Number?

When acquiring a Spanish property, you should have your NIE number before the date you wish to complete on the property; and the rules state you need to apply for the NIE no less than a month in advance from inside Spain, or two months before if outside of Spain.
