THE MARBELLA PROPERTY EXPERTS

Perhaps you saw the actress Chelsee Healey in the press last week? The popular Hollyoaks star embraced her changing figure, as she lounged poolside in Marbella. Heavily pregnant, and looking fabulous in an orange and pink bikini, the soap star soaked up some Marbella sunshine, as she relaxed. Perhaps she’ll be back when her little one emerges. After all, Marbella is perfect for family holidays, and is fabulous for family fun.

Family fun

Not just for famous families – although there are plenty of those too – Marbella is a top destination for many. Accessible, with plenty of short flights from the UK, and close to Málaga airport. Anyone with children knows that long haul can be torture. Within just a couple of hours, you can be in your Marbella holiday property, swapping wellingtons for flip-flops, and be ready to hit the beach with your little VIP’s.

Family-friendly beaches

With 320 days of sunshine per year, the beach makes a pleasant day out for all the family, and of course it’s also free entertainment. East of Marbella are the sandier beaches – perfect for sandcastles. There are many with gently-sloping waters, Blue Flag status for assured cleanliness, and some have equipment for children to play with.  Either pack a picnic, or make it easy on yourself and visit one of the many fantastic chiringuitos along the coastline. Fresh fish suits everyone, and the kids will love trying espetos, eaten with their fingers, of course.

Water-parks

There are plenty of water-parks on the Costa del Sol to choose from, but Aqualand in nearby Torremolinos stands out. Family friendly fun, with plenty of attractions and water rides, a fun day out for all the family is guaranteed. It opens for the season soon, on May 22nd, so you can plan a visit with your water babies. Check out their website for online tickets. Open from 11am until 6pm – 7pm in high season – it’s a great way to wear out the kids for a day, leaving you to enjoy a sun-downer on the terrace!
